On September 24, 2026, the PROBA Awards 2026 ceremony took place in St. Petersburg as part of the Baltic Weekend forum. Baikal Lobridge’s “GR & Lobbying Case Championship” won the “Talent Development” nomination in the “Agencies” category.
PROBA Awards is a professional award in communications and marketing. The “Talent Development” category recognizes projects focused on education, professional development, and engagement with young professionals. This year, the award set a new record for submissions: 348 entries were submitted, with 229 projects making the shortlist. The finalists were evaluated by 70 experts in PR, communications, and marketing.
The Baikal Lobridge GR&Lobbying Case Championship, organized jointly with the MGIMO Legal Club, gives students an opportunity to work on practical tasks in Government Relations, Public Affairs, and lobbying: monitoring and analyzing legislative initiatives, assessing regulatory risks, working with stakeholders, and developing strategies for business–government engagement.
Since 2024, Baikal Lobridge has held three GR and lobbying case championships, bringing together a total of 523 undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students. The project has involved students from dozens of Russian universities, with individual editions of the championship reaching up to 50 institutes and universities across 26 Russian cities.
The PROBA Awards 2026 win became the second professional recognition received by Baikal Lobridge’s educational projects in 2026. Earlier this year, the Baikal Lobridge and MGIMO School of Business professional development course “GR and Lobbying in Business and Non-Profit Organizations” was named a winner of the Communication Force Awards 2026 in the “Educational and Outreach Project of the Year” nomination within the “Government Relations / GR” category.
Baikal Lobridge will continue to develop educational projects, contribute to the advancement of the Government Relations profession, and support the next generation of GR, Public Affairs and lobbying professionals.
