The Foundation implements programs in water conservation, biodiversity preservation, sustainable tourism development, and environmental education.
The Foundation's project portfolio includes: a comprehensive program for studying the Baikal seal, grants for scientists researching endangered and rare species of flora and fauna in the Baikal Natural Territory, independent research on the state of the Lake Baikal ecosystem, and implemented waste separation projects in specially protected natural areas.
The Foundation participates in the work of expert communities aimed at improving Russia's environmental legislation. The Foundation is an accredited member of UNEP and the World Water Council.
