During the workshop which was attended by 80 participants Eduard Voytenko spoke about differences between GR and lobbying, explained how to obtain and use information which influences lobbying tactics and strategies in government agencies.
The participants learnt approaches and techniques through case studies from pharmaceutical and brewing industries. These examples showed:
How to work with insider information;
How to create GR campaigns, maps of stakeholders; how to make coalitions to complete a certain task;
How to contact with the media during GR and lobbying campaigns.
Emphasis was made on GR negotiations with stakeholders and ethical conduct of lobbyists. At the end of the workshop the participants learnt why companies need a GR strategy.
